For those who served aboard the USS Savage and have gone on before us we pray:

"They that go down to the sea in ships,
truly these see the works of the LORD."
PSALM 107:23, 24

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them,
We will remember them."
(From "The Ode to the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon)

Thanks and praise,
For our days,
Neath the sun, Neath the stars, Neath the sky,
As we go, This we know, God is nigh."
TAPS, TAPS!

Whether they served in WWII, the 50's or in Vietnam, their duty is now over, their mission  is  complete.  They  are  a band of brothers who  proudly served  their country.

May they rest in peace!

We will remember them!
