"The second patrol on Market Time was again on Station 9. The big event of this patrol was the assisting of the Vietnamese coastal junk force which was attacked on 11 July by at least 2 Viet Cong 57mm recoiless rifles near the Bo De River mouth on the southern tip of the Ca Mau Peninsula, South Vietnam, Latitude 8 degrees, 43 minutes N., Longitude 105 degrees, 16 minutes E. One of the Coast Guard 85" WPBs in the area evacuated the wounded from the sinking junk and closed SAVAGE for the trasnsfer."
